Samsung is losing ground in China10.02.2019
The largest market in terms of sales of smartphones is China. Last year, the company Samsung Electronics, though, and became a leader in the world, are unable to gain a foothold in this country.
In 2013 the share of Samsung accounted for 20%, but in 2018, the manufacturer took only 0.8% of the market.
The four largest companies together occupy 80%. Leadership position at Huawei with a share of 25.8%, followed by Oppo and Vivo from 20.3% and 19.5%, respectively. Has not held up to the three leaders Xiaomi with a share of 12.1%. In fifth place was Apple, which won 8.2% of the market.
Due to this situation, Samsung may even lose the title of world leader. Last year, the company took 18.4% in the world. It is followed by Apple with 17.5 percent. In third place was Huawei with a share of 16.1%.
